Notwithstanding it, it is the obligation of the executives not to exchange during indebtedness and to keep the books and records with respect to the budgetary position and performance(Real Business Rescue, 2017). The potential liabilities a companys chiefs in case of an organization that becomes indebted incorporate the eventual benefits of the organization. It is the duty of an executive to administer the organization for the benefit of its investors. There are a few obligations for a chief to have in custom-based law just as under the enactment of Australia for example the Corporations Act. The principle zones of conceivable individual liabilities of an executive incorporate giving security over private resources and to guarantee that the organization doesn't exchange indebtedness. The primary goal of the Director Penalty Regime of ATO is to guarantee that the chiefs guarantee that the organization follows the tax assessment and superannuation duties and they make fitting and brief move with respect to the representative entitlements(Legal Vision, 2016). There are different open doors for an organization thinking about, the situation of chief in the circumstance, when the organization is attempted to be indebted. The executives of the organization in monetarily pained circumstance, who wish to maintain a strategic distance from the charges of unfair exchanging, are required to guarantee that they have adequate and suitable monetary information(The Australian Institute of Company Directors, 2014). They are required to be alert towards risk signs, which incorporate weight from banks and they ought to have the option to reach determinations from the current conditions. By holding executive gatherings to examine or survey the circumstance, alongside thinking about the interests of the lenders, the chiefs can take a hold of the circumstance by not taking new liabilities(helix-law, 2017). In the event that basic the guidance of authorities and expert counsel ought to be thought of and followed cautiously. They should quit exchanging proces s and should begin suitable indebtedness procedures. There is an immense distinction between the intentional and automatic mediations by various gatherings related with the expected indebtedness of the organization. Their obligation emerges for a situation of unaided sale to sell the corporate resources, for a situation of obligation towards petition for financial protection, rearrangement versus liquidation, government retaining charges, state deals and retaining charges. Different liabilities happen for a situation of illicit conveyance towards investors and with respect to wages of the workers. Resource buyers additionally have the risk since they have title to the advantages; they have corporate, legal or other proper position to pass on the benefits viable, just as they can give assurance against liens obstructing the advantages. Notwithstanding it, the worry towards resource deals co mprise of conceivably noteworthy agent contracts also. As such, all the partners are related with the indebtedness of the organization in differing manner(Barreca Ranade, 2008). There are three kinds of corporate indebtedness methodology, which are intentional organization, liquidation and receivership. The individual indebtedness quantifies that are pertinent on individual and not in an organization are referred to as chapter 11 just as close to home bankruptcy understandings. In this circumstance, ASIC have various indebtedness data sheets to help an individual on the off chance that they are influenced by the organization bankruptcy and have less information about the contribution of different perspectives. So as to follow the indebtedness drifts in Australia, ASIC distributes measurements on month to month premise with respect to the number new organizations entering the outside organization and furthermore the quantity of bankruptcy arrangements recorded during the period. It can without much of a stretch be looked by perusing the indebtedness and deregistration sees on the notification site distributed and supported by ASIC(ASIC, 2014). In the circumstance of exchanging dissolvable, the obligation of the executives of the organization is by and large owed towards the organization with the end goal of bit of leeway of the current just as future investors. During the time spent creation benefits for the upsides of the organization also the investors, adequate assets are produced for the organization to satisfy all the liabilities towards banks that emerges now and again. Be that as it may, when the organization gets wiped out, the chiefs of the organization are required to consider the interests of the lenders so as to diminish likely budgetary misfortune to them. The break of such obligation can result into individual risk and conceivable preclusion from the situation of chief for a predetermined timeframe. Kennedy s Conspiracy Conundrum By John F. Kennedy

Kennedy s Conspiracy Conundrum Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country. These few words are some of John F. Kennedy s most famous; they were given in his Inaugural Address on January 20, 1961. He would serve, as some say, the most difficult presidential term, enduring the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Bay of Pigs. He would also pass some of the most beneficial laws such as housing for the public, minimum wage policy, and social security. Unfortunately, his contributions would come to an end with his unexpected assassination. The mystery behind John F. Kennedy s assassination can be summed up by two theories: the assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, either acted alone or had accomplices. There are many facts about Kennedy’s life that are set in stone; others, however, remain debated. While the fact that Kennedy was the youngest president is indisputable, the question of which person or persons were responsible for his death continues to be discussed. Most theorists can agree that while visiting Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963, at least three shots were fired from the Texas School Book Depository in Kennedy’s direction as he rode a car in the during the parade. President Kennedy sustained two injuries, one in the neck and one in the right of the head, which was the cause of his death (Warren Commission 3). John Connally, the Texas Governor, was also shot. While a film of the shooting taken by Abraham Zapruder is now available, it isShow MoreRelatedStephen P. Robbins Timothy A. A Tongue-Twisting Language Arts Lesson Plan

Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Peppers! She Sells Seashells by the Seashore! Toy Boat! Toy Boat! Toy Boat! Try saying these words several times quickly and youll see why tongue twisters can be a totally terrific part of your Language Arts curriculum. Not only are they silly, but these funny phrases focus on phonics, parts of speech, oral language, alliteration, reading, writing, and more. First, pique the childrens interest by introducing them to some of the more well-known tongue twisters. Challenge the children to say each phrase five times fast. Toy Boat is a great one because it sounds easy, but its actually quite difficult to repeat it fast. Try it yourself and see! Next, read a tongue-twisting book such as Twimericks, Dr. Seuss Oh Say Can You Say?, or Worlds Toughest Tongue Twisters. The kids will love watching you struggle through the tongue-tickling phrases from these books. You will probably have to stop every so often to give the kids a chance to practice the twisters. Its simply too irresistible to them if they have to wait. After the book, introduce the concept of alliteration. If you teach students in second grade or older, they will probably be able to handle this big word. In fact, it is a third grade academic standard in my district that all students know alliteration and begin to apply it in their writing. Alliteration simply means the repetition of the beginning sound in two or more words together. Younger students can build on the letter decoding skills included in tongue twisters by reading phonics poems in books such as the Phonics Through Poetry series. These poems are a little different than traditional tongue twisters, but they are a fun way to practice certain beginning sounds, rhymes, digraphs, and more. You may also want to discuss what makes these sentences and phrases so difficult to pronounce quickly. To build in writing practice, the students will have a blast building their own tongue twisters. To start, you can have the kids make four columns on their papers: one for adjectives, one for nouns, one for verbs, and one for other parts of speech. To determine the letter for their twisters, I usually just have them pick one of their initials. This gives them a little bit of free choice, but also ensures that you dont get 20 twisters of the same letter. After the children brainstorm approximately 10-15 words for each column that begin with their chosen letters, they can start putting together their twisters. I stipulate that they have to write complete sentences, not simple phrases. My students got so carried away that many of them asked if they could make more than one. I even had one child who made 12! To culminate the tongue twisting lesson, I have the kids write one twister on the bottom of a page and illustrate it above. These make a great project to post on a bulletin board because the children will love reading each others sentences and trying to say them five times fast. Give this tongue-twisting lesson a try and its sure to become one of your favorite lessons to teach each year. Yes, its a little silly and full of giggles, but at the end of the day, the kids really will have gained valuable language arts skills.

International Cooperation and National Security - 1494 Words

In â€Å"Anarchy is What States Make of It† Alexander Wendt describes two opposing state systems—competitive and cooperative. In competition, â€Å"states identify negatively with each other’s security so that ego’s gain is seen as alter’s loss.† In cooperation, â€Å"the security of each [state] is perceived as the responsibility of all.† Currently, there are problems such as the spread of nuclear weapons, terrorism, poverty in developing countries, international financial instability, and climate change that confront the entire global community. Ideally states could cooperate in order to solve all of these dilemmas in the next twenty years. Realistically, they will only solve problems with specific and easily stated solutions. Cooperation tends†¦show more content†¦Nuclear countries financed non-nuclear countries’ civilian energy technology, and considered this to be â€Å"an inalienable right† (Article IV). It is excessively more difficult to understand how much it costs to fund economic development in the Third World. On one hand, aid for health care has shown a lot of promise. As Kristof writes: â€Å"Where else can you spend a few dollars and save a life?† The cost of actual economic development is mystifying, though. Infrastructure projects fall apart while government leaders line their pockets. Even when the world does agree to cooperate, as they did for 2002’s Monterrey Consensus, the lack of encouraging results leads to a lack of adequate funds. Simple solutions, such as funding light-water nuclear technology, or mosquito nets to prevent malaria, are able to gain support, as are basic security measures. But countries have enough trouble building up their own infrastructure, and they do not want to put in the effort or the time to see possible regime change and growth in the less developed world. The costs of a problem extend beyond what a country is losing, and include what other countries are gaining. Relative gains make other countries hesitant to commit to cooperative action, and once again there is a divide between military and economic issues. In The Next Twenty Years, The World Will Have Solved The Major Problem Essay Example For Students

In The Next Twenty Years, The World Will Have Solved The Major Problem Essay s oftransportation today. Global warming news will no longer be splashed overnews screens nation wide. Traffic jams will be a thing of the past as some carstake to the air. In fact, traffic jams will be documented at the Smithsonian toensure future generations have a sense of what traffic jams were. The nexttwenty years will see huge advancements in the area of transportation makinglife much more enjoyable for all. In numerous cities across the country, the personal automobile is thesingle greatest polluter. Emissions from millions of vehicles on the road add upand cause the global warming problem talked of earlier. The solution is to havemuch more efficient vehicles that produce fewer emissions with every mile. Thisis why in twenty years the electric vehicle, or EV as most scientists refer to it,will see its nation wide introduction to roads everywhere. Electric vehicles areactually present in the world today. Unfortunately, the price of these EVs wellexceeds the price of a normal car. In twenty years however, the price of thesevehicles will have dropped dramatically with the new invention of the flying carswaying peoples interest. Any normal middle class family would be able toafford at least two of these electrically powered vehicles. While the families willbe benefiting from not having to buy gas every week, the environment willbenefit by not taking in as much emissions as in the past. Electric vehicles or EVs, are vehicles that are powered by an electricmotor instead of an internal combustion engine. EVs use electricity as the fuelinstead of gasoline or some other combustible fuel. The power for the vehicle isstored in many large batteries in the bottom of the car, from there the powergoes to a power regulator where it is changed from DC power to AC power. Theengine only has one moving part, which send the power directly to the wheels. Therefore, it does all the primary functions of a gas engine with no emissions. The major auto manufacturers are producing high-performance electricvehicles now, such as General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, and many foreigncompanies as well, in a wide range of style and sizes. They include passengercars, mini-vans, sport utility vehicles and pickup trucks. Also there are some EVsas small as bicycles and motor scooters and as large as busses. The EV isenvironmentally friendly. Electric vehicles are todays zero-emission vehicles. The EV releases no pollutant because it has no tailpipe making it safe for theenvironment. Instead of gas stations, EVs get their fuel from electric powerstations. An electric powered engine has many has many benefits over a gasengine in the comfort department as well. EVs offer a quiet fume-free, smoothdriving experience. Since the motor does not operate when the vehicle is at astop, an EV has no idle noises. EVs provide fast acceleration by deliveringpower instantly to the wheels by providing high torque at low speeds, they give afeel of smooth and quick responsiveness. Well-designed EVs like thoseproduced by major auto companies, travel at speeds equivalent to conventionalvehicles and offer all the same safety and high-speed performance features. TheEV also has low operating costs. The per-mile fuel cost of operating an EV canbe less than one-third that of a gasoline-powered car. EV owners also saygood-bye to many familiar maintenance costs, no more tune-ups, oil changes ormuffler replacements. Another advantage of an EV is the convince of no gasstations. EV drivers like that refueling or reenergizing can be done overnight, easily and safely at home or at public locations like shopping centers, whereelectric charging units have been installed. Electric vehicles are very safe. TheEVs produced by major companies meet all safety requirements. As the EVbecomes more popular, the safety record is being monitored closely.
